jDoom won't play demos/lmps

Whenever I try to run the the 30nm4949.lmp, and all other lmps for that better for doom2 on jDoom it says "error loading 30nm4949."  It also will not load the game's built in demo.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Jdoom does not support demos recorded with the real game(this includes the internal demos in the Iwad).
PrBoom is the way to watch the demos in style: http://sourceforge.net/projects/prboom/If you have an OS that plays Jdoom, PrBoom is sure to work.... and it is super easy to install.
although, personally, I like watching most games with the real executable (whether it is quake, doom, or whatever).

You can try Etertity ([url][/http://www.doomworld.com/eternity/url]). Demo's features such as chase and walk cameras are really great.

Is Eternity as compatible with v1.9 as prboom?

Eternity is fairly enough computable with 1.9 demos. TNT & Plutonia slightly less then D2 just as PRboom though. I used watch some maxkills with plenty of infights from walk cam point. Heh, an instructive stuff.
