Post by Angus_Thermopyle »

Two weeks ago my comp crashed, so I had to format the harddisk and reinstall everything (before: Win95 and IE5.5, after: Win98 and IE6.0). Ten days without Doom

http://download.com.com/3120-20-0.html? ... dl-2001get an ftp tool.
atm, I use Ws_ftp and Ftpx.  FtpVoyager is the best windows ftp program I have seen (it can download directories and sub-directories) but is very buggy.
for the Compet-N ftp, be sure to set the connection to passive mode(pasv) and use port 8002.
glad to see you back up!  oh, and welcome to 1998! ;) :P

I use LeechFTP, it works great for me. You'll just need an FTP client to log on to FTPs now I presume. It's better than never getting anything uploaded though ;)

SmartFTP is quite good, and completely free. It is the best FTP program I have ever used.

Just my $0.02.
